Worst Movies of 2012? The Suspects are Lined Up

By Kirsten Anderson Uncategorized

If you're going to be bad, you might as well be really bad.

While we’ve spent the past few weeks studying the results of critic groups as they rate the best movies of the year, we can’t forget their lesser brethren: the really bad movies of 2012.

There are more of these lists to come, but Movie Insider has two good lists–the biggest flops and worst reviewed. Here are the top ten worst reviewed movies that they found from Rotten Tomatoes ratings.

1. A Thousand Words

2. One for the Money

3. Playing for Keeps

4. A Little Bit of Heaven

5. The Apparition

6. Silent Hill 3D: Revelation

7. The Cold Light of Day

8. The Devil Inside

9. The Babymakers

10. Red Dawn

Their list actually goes to 60, which reminds us that even in a year that has been proclaimed one of the best for movies in a while, there still are plenty of clunkers.

If you want to see a variety of bad movies review themselves, check out this video from Next Movie. You may not agree that these are the worst movies of the year, but it’s nice to see them all evaluating their own level of quality.
