ComingSoon talked to McG briefly about “Terminator Salvation,” and asked whether there would be any kind of intro to summarize the previous films for new viewers. McG said they were still looking at that, but a voiceover by Sarah Connor is a possibility. CS suggested that this might be a good way to get Linda Hamilton, the original Sarah Connor, involved. I don’t know if she has any issues or bad feelings about her role in the movies. I’m sure if someone offered, she’d take it. Don’t want to sound mean, but…what else is she doing anyway?
McG also hinted that time travel will be a major theme in the movies to follow “Terminator Salvation.” Which is good, because apparently this first movie in the group will involve John Connor saving the man who is his father…but at this time is just a young man. So the father character is the one that has some time explaining to do. You follow?
