Will He Be Back? Arnold May Return to Movies

This is easier than being a governor.
What will Arnold Schwarzenegger do when he’s done governating? It’s possible he could go back to terminating.
Variety reports rumors from the WGA picket lines saying that Arnold’s people have been reaching out to Hollywood to let them know he’s interested in returning to his action star roots. Variety went to the Governor’s spokesperson, Aaron McLear, and asked if he had any statement about Schwarzenegger’s plans circa January 2011. Here’s what he had to say:
“Once the governor’s current term is up, he may go back to the movies, or devote energy to business, or continue working on environmental issues, or run a foundation — or start painting!” He continued, “But the governor has decided nothing final as yet and is devoting his energy to the job of running the state.”
(First, “start painting?” Umm…what?)
When asked if he was aware that that statement included no political plans, McLear said, “yes.” Apparently the idea of being a senator or congressman holds little appeal for Arnold (Washington vs. California; drizzle, cold and humidity vs. sunshine, beaches, and wildfires. Hmmm).
So, we ask, why not? Bruce Willis is on the gray side of things and he did decently in Die Hard With a Vengeance. Harrison Ford is kicking it in Indy 4, and he’s 65 (Arnold just turned 60). Arnold can just jump on the HGH bandwagon (they don’t test in Hollywood!) and maybe he’ll be ready for T5.
