Will Ferrell Added to “The Internship”

Will Ferrell will not be an intern in "The Internship."

Sometimes when you’re really sad about something, the best remedy is work. That’s what we would suggest for Will Ferrell, who’s devastated about the Kristen Stewart-Robert Pattinson break-up.

Good news! He took our advice–Variety says that Ferrell has joined the cast of “The Internship, the Shawn Levy directed comedy starring Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson as two laid off old school salesmen who try to start over as interns at a tech company. Ferrelll will do a ” cameo as Wilson’s brother-in-law, who sells home electronics and has no problem making inappropriate comments about his attractive customers.” Well, you’ve got to take that first step someday, even if it’s a really small step.

The cast of “The Internship” also includes Max Minghella, Rose Byrne, John Goodman, Dylan O’Brien, JoAnna Garcia, Eric Andre, Josh Brener, Tiya Sircar and Tobit Raphael.

Ferrell previously did a cameo in Vaughn and Wilson’s hit “Wedding Crashers.” He’ll next be seen onscreen with Zach Galifianakis in “The Campaign,” opening next Friday.
