The Last House on the Left
Out of this list, the only movie I’m really excited about is “Public Enemies.” As noted, I loved the Bryan Burrough book this is based on. Usually hearing that a favorite book is being filmed is reason to worry, but in this case I’m okay with it because Michael Mann is directing, and I always like his work. July seems like a weird release dMaybe I might be a little interested in “The Boat That Rocked”–that’s the 1960s pirate radio in Britain movie, so at least you know the music will be good. Also it stars the inimitable Philip Seymour Hoffman. I like the idea of “The Wolfman” but I feel like that has “Bram Stoker’s Dracula” disastrous bore potential written all over it.
Well, as they say, hope for the best, prepare for the worst.
