Yes, Warner Brothers has scheduled some dates for its 2013 movies and shifted one. Here’s what’s happening:
“The Conjuring” is moving all the way from January 25th to July 13th. That’s a ghost story with Vera Farmiga and Ron Livingston.
“The Incredible Burt Wonderstone,” starring Steve Carell, Jim Carrey, and Olivia Wilde, is now set for March 15th. It will face “21 and Over” and “Carrie.”
“We’re the Millers,” with Jennifer Aniston and Jason Sudeikis, will open on August 9th. It will be up agains “RoboCop.” Ahh, August, the month of movie hope.
“Prisoners,” with Hugh Jackman, Jake Gyllenhaal, Paul Dano, and Melissa Leo, will hit theaters on September 20th. The competition will be Ron Howard’s race car drama “Rush” and the 3D release of “Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones.” I can imagine competition from the former, but not the latter.
