Wow, they’re getting through the Twilight movies a little speedily aren’t they? Twilight, the first installment, was released late last year; the second, New Moon, is due out next month, and shooting has all but wrapped on Eclipse, the third novel-come-movie, due for release in 2010.
There is actually a few days of principal filming left on Twilight Saga: Eclipse (to give it its full title) but some of the main cast members have already celebrating coming to the end of their stint on the third of four movies in the series.
According to Digital Spy, Robert Pattinson and Bryce Dallas Howard were among those who celebrated ending filming at the Vancouver Aquarium in Stanley Park on Saturday night. While many cast and crew were present, it’s not clear whether Kirsten Stewart was or not.
Director David Slade hosted the party, while Jackson Rathbone’s (Jasper Hale) band 100 Monkeys provided entertainment.
I can’t help wondering whether the speed at which these films are being made and released aren’t going to affect their quality somewhat. Especially when you consider how much time is put into each Harry Potter film. Then again, the first didn’t seem to suffer as a result so I guess the filmmakers know what they’re doing.
