Bella and Edward were probably thinking about the “New Moon” soundtrack when this picture was taken.
Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke and the Kings of Leon both want to be on the “New Moon” soundtrack. Now will they get the gig?
“New Moon” director Chris Weitz, in an interview with Rotten Tomatoes, says:
“I am surprised at some of the bands that have said they’re interested. It’s kind of great,” Weitz told the site. “The criterion will still always be what’s right for the movie at that given moment, but Thom Yorke is interested; we might, if we’re very lucky, get Kings of Leon to do something … it’s exciting to be able to have access to this kind of talent.”
By the way, if you haven’t seen it, the Rotten Tomatoes interview with Weitz really covers a lot of ground. If you’re a fan, you’ll be interested.
So would you like music from Yorke and the Kings of Leon on the “New Moon” soundtrack? Or who else would you like to hear on it? It’s a shame ’70s glam rock band Queen is long gone. I would have voted to have them do music for the movie.
