"Think Like a Man 2"? "Think Like a Different Man"? "Think Like a Man: The Revenge"?
No good deed goes unpunished and no hit film goes unsequeled. The latest example is “Think Like a Man.” The hit romantic comedy, based on a book by Steve Harvey, opened at number one and has earned over $90 million so far and that’s good enough for a follow up. Deadline reports that the writers of the original, Keith Merryman and David A. Newman, have been asked to write the new script.
The original film was about a group of men and women and how they deal with each other. Standard romantic comedy stuff, but it had a good enough script and cast that it was a solid word of mouth success. The original cast included Michael Ealy , Jerry Ferrara, Meagan Good, Regina Hall, Kevin Hart, Taraji P. Henson, Terrence J, Romany Malco, Gabrielle Union, and Chris Brown. No word on who will be returning.
