Wow, it’s a busy “New Moon” day, I guess. The MTV Movies Blog has posted the list of songs and musicians who will soon represent the aural experience of “New Moon” in your memory forever. Here it is:

Alexandra Patsavas, the movie’s music supervisor (now that’s a pretty great job) explains why you should expect this to sound different than the “Twilight” soundtrack:
“This is a much more somber movie than ‘Twilight…There is a lot of love lost.”
Indeed.
The soundtrack will be released on October 20th.
