The "Twilight" movies always had awful posters.
Will they be buying out of genuine excitement, or out of something like nostalgia or duty? The “Twilight” fans, I mean. I ask this question as we get the news today that Fandango.com and Movietickets.com are starting ticket sales on October 1st for “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2,” the fifth and final film in the super successful teen vampire love story. The film actually opens on November 16th, so you’ll have plenty of time to decide how much you want to see it. For a real dose of “Were we ever so young?” you can also buy tickets on October 1 for the “Twilight Marathon” on November 15th, where the four previous films will be shown, culminating in the midnight showing of “Breaking Dawn Part 2.”
According to a poll by Fandango of 1000 moviegoers, 32% said this was their most anticipated movie of the fall. You know what is much more anticipated and would sell just as many tickets? The press junket for the film where Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will be trying not to deal with each other. Now that would be a hot ticket.
