“The Dead’s” Ford Takes On “Indelible”

Howard J. Ford's "The Dead" made an "Indelible" impression at the box office.

Howard J. Ford did just the kind of thing Hollywood loves–he made a movie, “The Dead,” for $150,000 and it earned $10 million worldwide. No wonder he’s getting to make another movie.

Deadline reports that Ford will direct “Indelible,” a supernatural thriller that he also wrote. It’s a co-production between Armory Films and Mugshot Films.

Ford won’t give away the plot, but said:

Indelible will not be just any supernatural thriller in the way some think a film like this will play out…When they get to the end of this movie, audiences will not only have felt tension and fear, but I want it to drive thoughts in a way that will hit hard in the heart and stay there long after the credits roll.”

I think audiences would be happy if they could get some good tension and fear.

“The Dead” was a zombie movie, not an adaptation of the James Joyce story. I’m guessing that “Indelible” will be ghosts.
