Team Behind ‘Meet The Spartans’ Working On ‘Goodie Two Shoes’ Spoof

I hope you’re all fans of spoof movies, because there’s soon to be another on on the way. The writing and directing partnership of Jason Friedberg & Aaron Seltzer have already given us Meet The Spartans and Epic Movie, and now they’re making Goodie Two Shoes.

I’ve yet to see Meet The Spartans, mainly because I still haven’t seen 300, which is obviously the main draw for inspiration, but I did enjoy Epic Movie when it came out last year.

According to Moviehole, the plot, if there is such a thing in any of these gag filled movie, is about a “group of friends who go on a life-changing adventure.” Sounds fascinating I’m sure.

Really it’s just an excuse to fill 90 minutes with as much mocking, and bad taste jokes as possible, and the list of who and what will be targeted this time round is diverse.

Superbad, and films like it are set to be the main thrust of the spoof goodness, while Will Smith’s Hancock, and the Sex and the City movie will also be major influences. Apparently they’re looking for a guy to play Carrie from SATC, so the hilarity has already begun in earnest.

The writers are said to currently be on the lookout for a Jessica Simpson, a Justin Timberlake, a Prince, a Flava Flav, a Dr Phil, an Angelina Jolie, a Paris Hilton, and a Michael Jackson so it seems there’ll be no end of celebrities on the receiving end of a well placed pisstake.

Goodie Two Shoes will be filmed in Louisiana between April 28th and June 6th.
