Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street - Trailer and Featurette

Tim Burton’s highly anticipated musical version of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street is out in less than a month now, opening in US cinemas on December 21st.
The film stars Johnny Depp as the murderous barber Sweeney Todd, with Helena Bonham Carter, a Burton favourite, as the pie maker Mrs. Lovett. Just don’t ask her what meat is in the pies, she may take offence, and you may be put off your dinner.
Here is the official trailer:
Johnny Depp looks absolutely fabulous as usual, and he perfectly fits both the role, and Burton’s highly stylised vision of the story. Bonham-Carter looks ghostly at the best of times (probably why Burton values her so much) and fit her role perfectly too.
Other cast members include Alan Rickman, Sasha Baron Cohen, and Timothy Spall, and the whole thing looks like it really is a revenge movie with class.
We also have a short featurette, which sees Burton himself taking us through the key elements of the movie, and giving some insights in to how it was all put together.
Here is the making of video:
The cast are all brilliant, and Burton seems to be perfect as the man to bring this age old tale to the big screen. Not so much a Christmas movie, but more a bloodthirsty tale of revenge and redemption, this should give the adults something to watch while the kids are all busy dreaming of Santa.
