Super Rumor: “Justice League” Villain Revealed?

By Kirsten Anderson Casting

Is this Justice League's Big Problem of 2015?

With the success of “The Avengers” last summer, Warner Brothers is in catch-up mode with plans for a “Justice League” movie pushing ahead for a summer 2015 release. No real details are known, other than that Superman will be included (hey, they’re going to get as much out of “Man of Steel” as they can).

Now, though, Latino Review is saying that they know the identity of the villain who will be fighting the good guys in the movie. And that villain is…Darkseid (as you DC pros figured out from the above picture).

Here’s what the DCanimated wikia has to say about him:

Darkseid was the absolute ruler of Apokolips, would-be conqueror of the universe and the greatest enemy of Superman. He psychically fed on the despair and misery of others. Darkseid has conquered and subjugated an unspecified number of planets throughout the universe.

Well, that’s just the intro–it being a wikia, there is a lot more written by eager fans.

Now caution here–Latino Review doesn’t list any sources or give any info about the context where they heard this. It could have been people just tossing around script ideas, with everything being far, far, far from definite. That being said, Latino Review has been pretty good when it comes to breaking stories like this. So we’ll see what happens.
