Steven Seagal Wants ‘Under Siege 3’… With Aliens

I’ve never been a fan of Steven Seagal. I just can’t see the appeal, although many people seem to think he’s some sort of action hero. I didn’t even like Under Siege, the pinnacle of his career before he starting starring in b-movies that usually end up direct to DVD.

So the news that Seagal is eyeing up an Under Siege 3 doesn’t really do much for me. But Seagal’s ideas for what to do with the film did at least provide me with a laugh on an otherwise miserable Saturday in the ever-rainy UK. Seagal told MTV Movies that he wants to go a different route for the third Under Siege film, possibly mixing it with aliens.

“There are offers and we’re looking at them. I personally want it to be something more modern.”

“In other words, I wouldn’t mind if it was about something more mystical or…maybe extraterrestrial in nature. Some real government top secrets instead of just the typical.”

Oh God, as well as being one of the worst actors on the face of the planet, Seagal has also now lost his marbles. Then again, it should be expected at his age: he is about 80 after all.

To be honest, I’m glad Seagal decided to say something stupid like this as it makes the already slim chances of this project ever getting off the ground even slimmer. Keep this up Steven and your career will descend to ever further depths of meaningless movies that no-one watches.
