Casting news from the indie side of things! Huffington Pictures announced that Lucas Till, Joel Courtney, and Ally Sheedy will star in “Sins of Our Youth.” Edmund Entin wrote the script and Gary Entin will direct. Michael Huffington will produce. Hence the name of the company, Huffington Pictures, right?
Here’s what it’s about:
“Sins of Our Youth” is the story of four teenage boys who accidently murder a young boy while recreationally shooting assault rifles. The film follows the perilous decisions they make in the wake of the murder in a moment of desperation, paranoia, and fear that their lives are over due to the certain eventuality of the death penalty. The four teenagers construct a “plan” that leads them down an even darker path.
Till is best known for his role in “X-Men: First Class,” and will next be seen in “Paranoia.” Joel Courtney was in “Super 8″ and he’s got “Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn.” Sheedy will always be known for “The Breakfast Club,” but most recently appeared in a TV series called “Full Circle” for DirectTV.
“Sins of Our Youth” is supposed to begin shooting this week in the Las Vegas area.
