Saw V? Wow, they’re pumping these films out more often than I change my underpants. The next instalment has been confirmed, and we have our first casting news about it too.
Tobin Bell will return as the highly sadistic killer for Saw V, and will be joined Julie Benz. She was last seen in the latest instalment of Rambo, and seems to making a habit of appearing in sequels.
According to The Hollywood reporter, her character is a “Brit with clothes and hair too proper and elegant to be a pawn in Jigsaw’s latest games.”
David Hackl, who was the production designer on the second, third and fourth Saw movies now finds himself at the helm the next instalment of the ghoulish horror.
Production on Saw V began on March 17 in Toronto, Canada, and an October 24th release date is expected.
How many films do you think they’ll be able to squeeze out of the franchise before everyone either gets bored or too distraught at the scenes on screen to warrant making another one?
