Rapidly Aging Harry Potter Kids Will Film “Deathly Hallows” Epilogue

They grow up so fast.

Were you staying up late at night pondering the question of how the Harry Potter franchise was going to handle the epilogue to “Deathly Hallows” that flashes forward to show the kids all grown up? Were you wondering if they were going to have Jeremy Irons as Harry, Keira Knightley as Hermione, and Ewan McGregor as Ron or something like that? (I’m just tossing random British actor names out there; you’re lucky I didn’t throw in an American wannabe/faker like Gwyneth Paltrow.)

Well, no need to worry about that–HP producer David Heyman told The MTV Movies Blog that the epilogue will still use the same actors who’ve been playing the kids since day one. This is the only thing that makes sense, of course, since the series has been filming so long that the kids are what, now in their 40s? Just kidding, I know they’re all only going to be about 35 when the last movie wraps up!

(still kidding…save your angry letters for another time)

I would guess they’re just going to toss on perhaps a few tasteful gray streaks or something like that. So, HP fans, do you agree with this idea? Or do you have a dream cast of adults you’d like to see in these roles? This is all, of course, ignoring that many people I know who read the books didn’t like the flash-forward and would probably be just as happy if it was left out.
