Pussycat Dolls Movie On Way?

The Pussycat Trannies Dolls (oh come on, surely at least one of them is?) are a pop group who have never really appealed to me. Maybe I’m just too old, and too in to my guitar music to really give a damn about five ropey looking women dancing around in the altogether.

But plenty of people do like the Pussycat Dolls, and according to The Daily Star, they have enough fans to warrant making a movie about themselves. They are said to be looking over a few scripts for the potential big-screen outing at the moment, and after the release of their next album, Doll Domination, will be heading for Hollywood. A source told the newspaper:

“It’s gonna be semi-biographical, about their rise to fame, with loads of dancing and singing.”

So it’s basically going to be Spice World (the Spice Girls awful movie) but starring the Pussycat Dolls instead. Oh brilliant, I can’t wait. The problem is, as much as I wish this would never see the light of day, movies such as High School Musical and Make It Happen mean there is definitely an audience for this type of film.

The only hope I have remaining is that the recent tightening of the belts that most movie studios have been experiencing will mean none of them will be stupid enough to finance this project. I mean, would you go and see a Pussycat Dolls movie? Nah, didn’t think so.
