Brad: “Am I in…or am I out?”
Oh, Brad. Will you ever stay out of the news?
Pitt, who recently left State of Play is apparently not too busy saving the world or being a stay at home dad to jump into another movie. According to Variety, Pitt is in talks to star in Terrence Malick’s Tree of Life.
Malick wrote the drama and will direct. Heath Ledger was originally slated to star, but left the production. Sean Penn is scheduled for a supporting role, to be squeezed in before he begins shooting Gus Van Sant’s Harvey Milk biopic.
Now correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t Malick have a rep for rather lengthy shoots? Will Pitt have the patience to stay around? Will a script change drive him from the fold…again? Hmm…I’ll believe in this one when I see Brad passing out slices of cake at the wrap party.

Your statement, “Sean Penn is scheduled for a supporting role, to be squeezed in before he begins shooting Gus Van Sant’s Harvey Milk biopic,” is incorrect
“Milk” shoots from the end of January through mid-March
“Tree of Life” is scheduled to begin shooting in March
You’re right–I mentally flipped around the sentences in the Variety article. Apologies, Brad, Sean, Gus, and everyone else!
