Pattinson’s “Me” Cast Gets de Ravin, Brosnan, Cooper

Emilie de Ravin will teach Robert Pattinson lessons about life…and love.
Well, it looks like there is another girl millions will love to hate: Emilie de Ravin has joined the cast of “Remember Me,” joining Kristen Stewart in the small, much-envied community of Robert Pattinson leading ladies. Pierce Brosnan and Chris Cooper are also part of the cast. Lena Olin may also be joining in the fun.
Variety says that in “Remember Me,” Pattinson plays “a young man whose brother’s suicide has split up his parents (Brosnan and Olin) and left him sleepwalking through life. De Ravin will play a young woman who, after watching her mother get killed before her eyes, seizes life to its fullest. Cooper is being courted to play her father.”
Pierce Brosnan and Lena Olin as your parents? Those are some pretty impressive genetics for Mr. Pattinson. The downside, of course, is that he is not immortal, and that’s been working for our boy Rob.
“Remember Me” was originally written by Will Fetters, with a rewrite by Jenny Lumet. Allen Coulter directs.
Lucky girl de Ravin can be seen this summer in the much-anticipated “Public Enemies.”
