Night Watch: New Watchmen Trailer

Okay, as mentioned yesterday, a new Watchmen trailer was unveiled today. See it below:

What do you think? I was trying to imagine the reaction of a person who didn’t know about the graphic novel, didn’t care about graphic novels, who maybe liked Iron Man, but normally wouldn’t describe his/herself as a comic book or superhero type of person. I think that person’s first thought–or at least one of Imaginary Person’s first thoughts–would have to be something like, “Does this movie have any day time scenes? Does it only take place at night?” Because from this trailer, it’s a pretty dark movie–and I don’t mean dark in tone, though I’m sure that’s there as well. Otherwise Imaginary Person is probably just confused about what’s in the trailer. Well, IP, this movie comes out in March, so I bet you won’t have any choice but to see it because most other movies during winter/early spring are just irredeemable pieces of garbage. So by March 6th, audiences will no doubt be thrilled with any movie that has a decent beginning, middle, and end.
