New Watchmen Trailer Online Thursday

Look! A picture to admire until the trailer goes online. 

Set your alarm clocks–Yahoo!Movies has announced that it will have a new Watchmen trailer online on Thursday, November 13th, at 5:00 pm PT. So that’s 8:00 here on the East Coast and…uh, a variety of other times all over the rest of the world.

(Say, do you know what else happened on November 13th? Okay, this is one of my favorite pieces of stupid trivia. If you’ve ever watched The Odd Couple–the incredibly great TV series, not the dull movie–you’ll no doubt remember how it opens with an explanation of how Felix ended up living with Oscar before seguing into Neil Hefti’s legendary theme music. Felix, as it turns out, was asked to leave his place of residence because he was driving his wife crazy with his finicky ways. The day he was asked to leave? As the narrator clearly says, it was November 13th. So amaze your friends with that one.)

Back to business. Watchmen opens in conventional theaters and IMAX on March 6th, the R-rated Warner Brosrelease stars Patrick Wilson, Jackie Earle Haley, Matthew Goode, Billy Crudup, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Malin Akerman, Carla Gugino, Stephen McHattie and Matt Frewer.
