Mark Your Calendars: Paramount Pictures 2009 Schedule

Yeah, Transformers 2 should do well this summer.

ComingSoon has the release schedule from Paramount Pictures, so you can start thinking about what you will get to see when. Movies like Star Trek and Transformers 2 are just about guarantees of big money for the studio; GI Joe is likely to do well, but I can’t say it’s a slam dunk. The Soloist, starring Jamie Foxx and Robert Downey, Jr. was bounced to April 2009 from its Oscar bid spot in 2008, much to the annoyance of everyone involved. The Lovely Bones, set for December, looks to be Paramount’s big Oscar hopeful in 2009, along with Up in the Air, and probably Shutter Island. I guess the biggest question for the year is: “What the heck is Dance Flick?”
