“The Wolf of Wall Street” is about to add another cast member–Deadline says that Australian actress Margot Robbie is in talks to join the cast of the Martin Scorsese film. Leonardo DiCaprio stars with Jonah Hill and Jean Dujardin also in the cast.
Terence Winter adapted Jordan Belfort’s memoir about his days as a hard-partying, high-flying Wall Street investor, the alcohol and drugs that fueled the mix, and the downfall that followed. Robbie would play his wife, Nadine.
Robbie has done a lot of Australian TV, including the stalwart soap “Neighbors,” and also was in the short-lived ABC show “Pan Am.” I don’t know anything about her acting ability, but if you’re looking for someone to play the trophy wife of a rich Wall Street guy, well, she fits the bill.
