Kurt Russell Considers “Fast & Furious 7″

Kurt Russell at the Living Legends of Aviation awards. Is that Fast & Furious enough for you?

“Fast & Furious 7″ is rushing to add cast members as it heads quickly into production to be on screens next summer. Variety  reports that Kurt Russell has been offered a role in the next installment of the increasingly popular franchise.

No word on who exactly Russell would play, but rumor has it that it is a role that was offered to and turned down by Denzel Washington, so you know it’s not a bit part.

Russell’s last movie was “Touchback” in 2011; before that he hadn’t been seen on screen since the “Grindhouse.” He was supposed to be in “Django Unchained,” but dropped out at the last minute. He has “Art of the Steal” with Jay Baruchel completed. We’ll see if he sticks with this.

James Wan is directing “Fast & Furious 7.” Franchise stars Vin Diesel and Paul Walker are set to return, along with newcomer Ronda Rousey, the UFC star.
