Kristin Davis Claims ‘Sex and The City’ Girls Are All Close

Sex and The City Girls

Not being a Sex and The City fan myself, the one abiding image I have of the actresses portraying the characters is their bitching, moaning, and feuding with each other. I obviously have no personal experience of this but the press are always going on about it.

I’ve literally lost count of the number of times I’ve read that Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis are having a fight or that one of them hates one of the others. Yet it could all be a work of fiction.

Kristin Davis recently told The Mirror:

“Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and I are all close in different ways and we’ve all been together now forever. It’s hard to describe what it’s like to be able to have gone through the crazy, crazy journey that is Sex And The City together. There is no one else we could turn to and talk about “remember when”. We have years of crazy experiences together. And you can’t recreate that with anybody, you can’t even pull anybody else into it. So I have different relationships with each of them and they have with each other.”

That’s not a direct rebuttal of all the accusations of in-fighting over the years but by stating they are all close to each other it kind of gives off the feeling that most of what is written is at least only half true.

I’m sure in reality they all secretly live together, swap clothes, and do each other’s make-up like a bunch of teenagers. But whatever the truth (likely somewhere in between the two scenarios) the relationship they have seems to work on screen. Which is all that really matters when acting is your day job.
