Jon Favreau will go to Wall Street with Leo and Marty.
It seems like his small roleĀ in “Iron Man 3″ as Happy Hogan has rekindled the acting fire in Jon Favreau. Deadline reports that Favreau has joined the cast of “The Wolf of Wall Street,” Martin Scorsese’s adaptation of Jordan Belfort’s memoir of high times and blown fortunes on Wall Street.
Leonardo DiCaprio stars as Belfort, who made a big splash in investment banking and then got caught up in drugs, partying, and shady deals, eventually landing in prison. Favreau would play a securities lawyer, a job he would not want in real life. The rest of the cast includes Jonah Hill, Kyle Chandler, Jean Dujardin,Jon Bernthal, Rob Reiner and Margot Robbie.
Favreau appeared in the recently released “People Like Us” and also filmed a role in 2013′s “Identity Thief.” He directed the pilot of the new TV series “Revolution” and has been rumored as the director of the adaptation of the musical “Jersey Boys.”
