Who would you expect to get a sneak preview of the set for the next James Bond movie first? The studio executives of course, the writers, maybe the actors themselves, and then there’s The Queen of England. Well James Bond is her loyal servant after all…
The Queen was actually at Pinewood Studios in England to open a new entrance, but was shown around the Bond set as part of a studio tour. The 007 Stage was rebuilt this year after being decimated by fire last July.
‘Bond 22′ is due to start filming within the next two months, with Daniel Craig once again playing the suave MI6 agent James Bond. Craig recently signed on for a further four Bond films, after the success of ‘Casino Royale’, in a deal reputedly worth $60 million.
The film is currently scheduled for release on 7th November 2008.
