2008 already looks set to be a great year for films, and it’s only April. Luckily there are lots more big name films due out before the end of the year, and Fandango.com recently ran a poll to find out which one most movie-goers were looking forward to seeing.
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull unsurprisingly topped the poll, although its lead over Batman: The Dark Knight in second place is a bit of a shocker.
82% of those asked wanted to go and see Harrison Ford get chased by boulders and bad guys one last time in Indy 4, while 42% can’t wait to see Heath Ledger’s final performance on the big screen.
The top ten films in full are:
1. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (82%)
2. The Dark Knight (42%)
3. Iron Man (38%)
4. The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (37%)
5. The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (30%)
6. Get Smart (29%)
7. The Incredible Hulk (22%)
8. The X-Files 2 (20%)
9. Speed Racer (19%)
10. Sex and the City (19%)
Iron Man is surprisingly high, as its not a film that particularly appeals to me, although the most recent trailers for it do whet the appetite a fair bit.
I personally can’t wait to see The X-Files 2, and Speed Racer looks like it might be worth a visit to the local cinema for. Sex and the City meanwhile, I wouldn’t go to see, even if you paid me.
What movie are you most looking forward to seeing this year?

I can’t wait to see The X-Files! It’s been too long of a wait.
