‘Indiana Jones 5’ Movie Still Possible

The gap between Indiana Jones 3 and Indiana Jones 4 was what, about 20 years or so? Which begs the question of how long it’ll be until Indiana Jones 5 is made, if it ever is. Another 20 year gap probably wouldn’t work because Harrison Ford, George Lucas and Steven Spielberg will probably all be in nursing homes or worse by then. So, if and when?
George Lucas has already indicated that there is at least a discussion happening over an Indiana Jones 5 movie, but that could just be his bank manager urging him to do it in order to add an extra couple of zeros to his bank balance. And now, David Koepp, the screenwriter of the fourth film has told MTV Movies his views on the chances of another sequel being made, saying:
“I thought [‘Crystal Skull’] was a pretty good way to go out, but you never know. Somebody has a great idea — it’s always worth doing.”
It certainly is, at least for monetary reasons, because a new sequel would be a license to print money. However, Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of The Crystal Skull upset a lot of fans because it wasn’t the movie they wanted to see. How many of them would trust Lucas and his team to do a better job next time round?
Personally, I think Indy 4 is the best Indiana Jones movie ever, and watching it recently on Blu-ray did nothing to change my opinion. I also watched the original trilogy before The Crystal Skull came out and must admit I didn’t find them particularly appealing. They haven’t aged well.
I’d welcome Indiana Jones 5 with open arms but I’d like to see Ford handing over the reins to Shia LaBeouf for it. Maybe have Jones and his new wife retire at the beginning of the movie and let Mutt Williams be the new adventurer. I just know most people are going to hate that idea so let us know in the comments section.

Lucas -Ford -in fact, all the rest of Hollywood -in open
collusion with that most awesome genocidal regime in
history—across the Pacific.
Blindsiding, burying, denying and generally ignoring
the murder of 70,000,000 in the name of ‘progress
and social justice’.
70 million —and counting!
NOW -enjoy your stale and stupid ‘latest’ movie.
