We already knew that the final instalment of J.K. Rowling’s series of wizard books, Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows, was going to be split in to two to ensure the book got justice. This was due to the length and sheer amount of thing which happen in it.
Now, we have a release date for both parts, after Warner Brothers announced when the two parts will be going on general release.
First of all, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, the sixth film, will be hitting cinemas on November 21st. Then fans will have a whole two year wait until The Deathly Hallows: Part I is released in November 2010. Finally, The Deathly Hallows Part II will be released in May 2011.
While this may seem a long way off, and indeed it is, it does give the studio time to refine the script and screenplay, and then get the whole thing shot and edited to do it justice, and allow the series to go out in the style in which it deserves.
My only worry is that by then, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint will be looking much older than their characters are meant to be, and it will take a bit of camera trickery to have us believe in them.
