George Miller (Happy Feet, Babe, Mad Max) is attached to direct “Justice League of America”, which will be a live-action film despite recent rumors suggesting it would be animated.
Both Batman and Superman are featured in the script by Kieran and Michele Mulroney, but it’s unlikely Christian Bale or Brandon Routh will be involved in the project, the studio looking to cast lesser known actors instead. The rumored favourite to take on the role of Batman being Oscar nominee Ryan Gosling.
Other heroes likely to be featured include Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Green Lantern, and the Flash.
Warner Bros. current plans are to shoot the film in Australia with a release in summer 2009.
