Frodo Returns? Elijah Wood Ready to Revisit Middle Earth

Yes…this all seems so familiar and comfortable…
What do Elijah Wood and The Little Mermaid have in common? They both try being ordinary mortals and find out it’s not all it’s cracked up to be. Meaning that our boy Frodo seems just a wee bit anxious to don the hairy feet again and return to Middle Earth.
Here’s what Elijah Wood told the MTV movie blog about the possibility of participating in The Hobbit movies:
“If I’m asked to go back and revisit that character and it makes sense, I would love to. I would absolutely love to.”
His next comments seem to confirm the rumor that the two film Hobbit extravaganza isn’t going to be just a stretched out retelling of a rather short book, but one film of The Hobbit plus a film that acts as a bridge between that book and the LOTR saga. Sort of a Part I: The Hobbit and Part II: Newly Discovered Adventures in Middle Earth. In other words, original material by the Jackson team. This ought to go over real well with Tolkien purists.
“Nothing was really written with Frodo involved in it. That was sort of an ancillary tale outside of ‘Lord of the Rings.’ I can’t imagine that they [Jackson, Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens] would write great reams of information regarding my character…But if he [Frodo] should show up, it would actually be the perfect way to revisit because it could be small enough that I could go back and have a nice sort of reunion with the memories that I have of the experience…It’s a great triumph [that Peter is involved.] I think that’s really important that the same team that worked on the [earlier] films [work on “The Hobbit”], the same effects team, that it be shot in New Zealand. I think that it’s important that Ian McKellen is cast as Gandalf, just so that there’s a synergy between the films…I think people want it to exist in the same world. So at least now we are assured that it will be done through that same lens, which is great. It’s exciting.”
If Elijah is that psyched, it’s probably a pretty good bet that Sean Astin has already bought a plane ticket to New Zealand.

What about Corey Haim & Corey Feldman in the Hobbit??? Corey Feldman could play Smaug!!! And Corey Haim to play Thorin Oakenshield!!! The boys are so keen to be involved that they are going to paddle over in a kayak & attempt to set a new world record as part of the journey!!! Can’t Wait!!!

Sorry, I’m from Lismore & we don’t get many movies up here… I do not know much about Corey Haim & Corey Feldman??? But I absolutely loooooooooovvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeee Chuck Norris!!! He is so dreamy!!! He is my number 2 of all time behind the hottest guy of all time - Jean Claude Van Damme!!! So is Chuck Norris going to be in The Hobbit??? That would make this movie a must see for me!!! If it ever plays in Lismore, that is!!! We are still waiting for the new Batman movie to come out. You know the one starring Michael Keaton as Batman & Jack Nicholson as the Joker!!!

I don’t feel like this would really be the right project for Chuck Norris unfortunately!!! He would be better suited to a franchise like Harry Potter or something. He could play Dumbledore’s long lost lover or something!!!

What are you saying about Chuck Norris??? And who is Harry Potter & this Dumbledore guy??? They aren’t the 2 guys from this Broken Back Mount Me movie that I have been hearing about??? Lismore is known as the “Rainbow Town” but I could not bear to see Chuck Norris make out with another man. That would kill me!!! He is just sooooooooo dreamy!!!

This is some tripped out s@#t!!! You don’t get out much do you??? The movie was called Brokeback Mountain & it was a very moving love story!!! I am man enough to say it definitely touched a nerve with me. It actually won a few Oscars too. I would love to see a sequel to Brackback Mountain with Chuck Norris playing an older Ennis Del Mar (Heath Ledger’s character). This would really show Chuck Norris’ range & skill as an actor!!!

People, can we please get back to the thread!!! The 2 Corey’s starring in The Hobbit!!! I love those guys!!! They will really add some star power to this movie. Especially if all this nonsense about The Hobbit being made as 2 movies is true??? I can’t say that I am thrilled to hear about these “Newly Discovered Adventures in Middle Earth”. Unless it is like a teen buddy movie with the 2 Corey’s going on a road trip in an old mustang across Middle Earth!!!
