Sing! Sing! Sing!
The Twilight soundtrack hit number one on the Billboard chart in its first week of release. For the week ending November 9th, the Twilight music fest sold 165,000 copies (numbers courtesy of Reuters). Surprisingly, out of those sold, only 48,000, or 29%, were digital downloads. I would have thought it would be the reverse, with the majority being downloads. So this means that either the cover art on the CD is incredible, or the number of illegal downloads is, well, incredible.
Just in case you forgot, here’s what’s on the soundtrack:
Muse – “Supermassive Black Hole”
Paramore – “Decode”
The Black Ghosts – “Full Moon”
Linkin Park – “Leave Out All the Rest”
MuteMath – “Spotlight” (”Twilight” mix)
Perry Farrell – “Going All the Way (Into the Twilight)”
Collective Soul - “Tremble for My Beloved”
Paramore – “I Caught Myself ”
Blue Foundation – “Eyes on Fire”
Rob Pattinson – “Never Think”
Iron & Wine – “Flightless Bird, American Mouth”
Carter Burwell – “Bella’s Lullaby”
