Disney, Marvel Announce Comic-Con Panels

The long-time-coming "Wreck-It Ralph" makes a Comic-Con appearance.

Is it me or has it been kind of quiet on the Comic-Con front this year? Maybe it’s just a little bit of a letdown after the enormous big deal that was last year’s event with all the “Avengers” anticipation (which paid off handsomely).

We do, however, have some news from Disney about their plans for the event, which takes place from July 12-15 (preview on July 11th) in San Diego as always. Here’s Disney’s info, for those of you who are thinking of going or who just want to be on the lookout for news from the event:

Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures: Thursday, July 12th 2:05pm – 3:05pm (Hall H) – A Q&A panel featuring the imaginative director of Frankenweenie, Tim Burton (Alice in Wonderland); A special look at the world of Oz The Great and Powerful with director Sam Raimi (Spider-Man trilogy); the illustrious voice cast of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Wreck-It Ralph, including John C. Reilly (Step Brothers), Sarah Silverman (“The Sarah Silverman Program”) and director Rich Moore (“The Simpsons”).

Marvel Studios: Saturday, July 14th 6:00pm – 7:00pm (Hall H) – Marvel Studios presents Iron Man 3. Join Producer Kevin Feige and special guests as they provide an inside look at the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe.
