The Las Vegas Film Critics step away from the crowd.

If you’re a fan of “Best of” lists (and at this time of year, who isn’t?), then here’s a great group of links to the year-end choices from a number of critics’ groups around the country. Even better, Indiewire thoughtfully included the Best Picture or Number 1 film from each group in parentheses next to the link, so if you just want a quick count of how certain movies are doing, you can tell at a glance. Okay, I’ll save you the glance–”Zero Dark Thirty” is running away with the race right now. Congratulations, though, to the outliers–the Las Vegas Film Critics, who were the only ones to choose “Life of Pi” and the Detroit Film Critics, who were the only ones to choose “Silver Linings Playbook.”
