ComingSoon has three The Dark Knight interviews up–Christian Bale, Aaron Eckhardt, and Gary Oldman. Each one lasts about five minutes. They’re pretty clip heavy, so that alone makes them worthwhile. The girl doing the interviews seems too “communications course” and her questions are really scripted and a little odd (she summarizes each actor’s character and story leaving them all to say at first “uhhhhh…yes, that is what happens…”). She also doesn’t react to what they say. But each actor does get a chance to talk and they answer in paragraphs, not shrugs or grunts, so that’s pretty good (thought Gary Oldman isn’t a great speaker; he’s an “Uhhhh…uhhhhh…uhhhh” kind of guy). There’s a spoiler at the end of Oldman’s interview, so if you don’t want to know anything, either don’t watch that one or bail out somewhere around the three minute mark just to be safe.
