Christian Bale doesn’t like distractions.
You know, I don’t think anyone would be surprised by the revelation that Christian Bale is perhaps a little intense while doing a scene. An audio clip from the “Terminator Salvation” shoot proves this point. Find the link in this article from the National Post and listen as Bale lets loose on an unfortunate crew member who apparently disrupted him while filming a scene, then make a note to yourself about what not to do the next time you’re working with Bale. If you’re listening at work, by the way, make sure you use headphones as the language is probably not office-etiquette ready.
Goodness, imagine what Christian must have said on the set of “Newsies” when they had to re-shoot one of his dance numbers.

I’ve just seen “The machinist” and I lack words to describe how much I appreciate Christian Bale in the role of Trevor. One cannot but call him a genius. And what strength of character, what passion one must have to be able to lose so much weight just to make the hero more convincing. It is pure perfection. Thank you, Christian! You are unbelievable!
