Charlize Theron Adds Crime Thriller To Her To-Do List

Charlize Theron chooses a life of crime.

What is Charlize Theron not interested in doing? Taking a day off, apparently. Just a few days after we heard that she would star in the comedy “Ladies Night,” we now have word from The Hollywood Reporter that Theron will star in an untitled crime thriller for Paramount.

Dan Nowak, a writer for AMC’s “The Killing,” is writing the script. It is described as “being similar in tone to¬†The Departed and End of Watch, revolves around a corrupt vigilante group.” Oh, okay. That makes it like a lot of things. Theron will produce with Ian Bryce, by the way.

In addition to this untitled venture and “Ladies Night,”Theron is also set to star in the adaptation of Gillian Flynn’s novel “Dark Places,” and Seth MacFarlane’s “A Million Ways to Die.”
