Will Smith and Michael Mann Reteam for “Empire”
According to Variety, Columbia Pictures has acquired “Empire”, from a pitch by John Logan (Gladiator, The Aviator).
Michael Mann (Collateral, Miami Vice) is set to direct from Logan’s script with Will Smith starring. The film is described as a drama which follows a contemporary global media mogul to be played by Smith.
