Behind The Scenes Of ‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’

In the same way that J.J. Abrams likes to play his cards close to his chest on any of his many varied projects, Michael Bay likes to keep us all guessing right up until the moment we enter the cinema and see what he has brought to the big-screen.

Just yesterday we had Abrams reveal one of the first little titbits about the upcoming Star Trek, and now we have a behind the scenes video from the set of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. It’s like all my dreams have come true in one week.

While Abrams seemed to just decide to give the fans a little in the hope they won’t push him for more, the reason Bay has given us something to get our teeth in to is good old-fashioned money, via a corporate partnership with Walmart.

According to MTV Movies, this means that any Walmart customer purchasing the Transformers DVD will gain access to video production diaries straight from the set of the sequel. While the promotion has its own dedicated mini site, those of us who aren’t Walmart customers can check the first video out courtesy of YouTube.

While the video from the first day of filming doesn’t really show much, I’ll take any news I can get on Transformers 2. Just the tiny fraction of the film shown during this video is enough to get me wet with excitement. Yes, seriously.
