With “World War Z” finally opening, do you feel we have enough zombie movies or do we need more? If you said, “More!” then you’ll be happy to know that “Maggie,” the Black List script by John Scott 3 is not only still on track, but also has booked Arnold Schwarzenegger to play a key role, the dad of the title character.Okay, Schwarzenegger may not be your dream actor, but let’s give Arnold some props for trying hard since his return to the screen. And he’s getting a producer credit on the movie.
The plot of the movie:
As a “walking dead” virus spreads across the country, a farm family helps their eldest daughter come to terms with her infection as she slowly becomes a flesh-eating zombie.
Personally, I”m bored to tears by zombie movies or TV shows, but I’m apparently the only one who feels that way. “World War Z” has opened big enough to prove there’s a market for the topic, and at least “Maggie” is a different take on it. Chloe Morezt was originally set to star, but she is no longer involved. So we need a new teen girl zombie. Luckily, there are plenty of young actresses who can fill that role easily enough.
Schwarzenegger is also set to star in the third “Expendables” movie and then the fifth “Terminator” movie.
