‘The Last Of Us’ Trailer Debuts Online

The first trailer for The Last Of Us, nothing but a teaser to be frank, has debuted online. It’s short and doesn’t show much, but it should be enough to get those who like this type of game ramped up for its release.

We see the two main protagonists from The Last Of Us, Joel and Ellie, driving in a pick-up truck through what is clearly a wasteland that is inhabited by very few people. Then they run into one of these people, literally.

One of the writers at Kotaku was given a sneak preview which saw the continuation of this scene. He describes a dark survival horror full of peril, with the player in charge of characters with less skill than Nathan Drake, the star of Naughty Dog’s other big IP Uncharted.

Expect to see a lot more of The Last Of Us at E3 2012 in June, including some gameplay footage, hopefully. The release date has not yet been set but it will likely launch either at the end of this year or at the beginning of next year.
