The Evolution Of PC Gaming Remix

I have personally never been much of a PC gamer, only turning to my computer to play titles that work much better with a keyboard and mouse. Such as strategy or point and click adventures. Call me a n00b is you want but for everything else I prefer consoles.

However, I do bow down to PC games and PC gamers for leading the way. They’re usually a step ahead of the consoles, with titles that push the hardware and whichever genre they belong to.

This video shows the evolution of PC gaming, with Reverse Enginears melding dozens of games from the past three decades together to form a visual and aural treat that deserves to be seen.

The Verge has a list of all the games featured throughout the video, and they range from Zork and MULE through to Portal 2 and Diablo 3. Along the way we see Lode Runner, Sim City, Lemmings, Doom, Myst, Starcraft, Fallout, Max Payne, Splinter Cell, and Borderlands. To name just a few.
