We know most of what we need to know about the Wii U. At least until test units head out to games magazines and websites for real gamers to get to grips with. The question is when that will happen, as Nintendo is being very cagey on the release and pricing details of its new home console.
It may be that Sega has revealed all by dating the release of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed on the Wii U. The telling quote posted on the SEGA Blog and first noticed by Attack of the Fanboy reads:
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed will be available on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, the Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo’s Wii U, and Windows PC Digital Download this November.
This is far from official confirmation that the Wii U will be releasing in November, but it strongly suggests it will be out BY November. This would hardly be surprising as Nintendo has always maintained the Wii U will arrive in 2012, but the lack of details revealed at E3 2012 has some people worried it will slip into early 2013. If this is the case then it appears Nintendo has forgotten to inform Sega of the change of plans.
