OnLive Comes To Ouya

At the start of July a new games console reared its head on Kickstarter. Its name is Ouya, and it’s an attempt to shake up the industry by offering an affordable platform on which indie games developers can offer their wares to the public.

At the time of writing Ouya has raised more than $5.5 million, and so the pressure is on the team to actually deliver on its promises. The latest update was a rather major one.

Firstly, the controller has been revealed in all its glory, as can be seen in the image above. Secondly, Ouya has announced a new partnership with OnLive that means the streaming games service will be coming to the console.

This partnership means there will be games available from day one, and not crappy titles either but genuine class acts such as Borderlands and Batman: Arkham City. Perhaps this will change the industry for the better after all.
