At E3 in June Naughty Dog unveiled The Last Of Us, a new PS3 exclusive that was one of the games taking plaudits at the event. It looks like Uncharted with some added violence and survival aspects. Which, on paper at least, sounds like an epic game.
The gameplay footage revealed at E3 became a talking point thanks to the lethal violence used by the lead characters. Leading many to suspect The Last Of Us will be for adults-only.
At PAX Prime a new extended gameplay trailer was revealed, and this time the character took a different approach to getting through the same environment. Stealth looks to play a huge part in the game, if you choose to play it that way.
The Last Of Us was already looking fantastic, and now that we know there are various different ways to proceed through the game the anticipation levels have just gone through the roof. This is sure to be a contender for game of the year 2013, alongside GTA V.
