One teenager from Taiwan has learned this lesson a little late. According to Digital Spy, the 18-year-old collapsed and died after playing Diablo 3 for 40 hours straight. That’s one hell of a marathon gaming session.
The incident occurred in a private room at an Internet cafe, where the guy checked in and proceeded to play the game for almost two days straight without eating. I suspect he didn’t drink much fluid either.
An employee found the man resting his head on one of the tables and woke him up. After taking a few steps the gamer collapsed and was pronounced dead in hospital. A sober and somber reminder not to overdo your gaming habit. Remember, everything in moderation, however much fun it may be.
